Man Utd flop’s wife worked at clothing shop as husband earned £100,000 per week

Manchester United flop Morgan Schneiderlin might need his other half to man the tills once again after being let go by Turkish team Konyaspor this summer.

Schneiderlin only joined the Super Lig club in August. But his move turned into a disaster as he was let go after just nine days with his new employers. It continued an unfortunate career trajectory for the Frenchman, who has struggled to make an impact after leaving Southampton for United in 2015.

The 33-year-old swapped St Mary's for Old Trafford eight years ago, taking home a whopping £100,000-a-week at the 13-time Premier League champions. However, that didn't stop his other half, Camille Sold, from paying her way in their relationship.

While the pair were finding their feet in the city – staying at the five-star Lowry Hotel – Camille manned the tills and helped customers on the floor of the Adidas store in the city centre.

The two began dating in early 2015, and when the Frenchman made the move up north from Southampton, so did Camille. The former Strasbourg man struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford, and in 2017 he was on the move again when Everton came calling.

Alongside a new change of scenery in 2017, the Frenchman also proposed to the now-former shop assistant. And the pair tied the knot as Camille shared a love-up snap from their wedding day with the caption: "Mr & Mrs Schneiderlin."

Schneiderlin had popped the question as a United playing during a romantic break to the French Riviera in March 2016.

Now in the twilight of his career, Schneiderlin is without a club after his dramatic exit from Konyaspor.

The midfielder played 59 times for former club Nice, including 24 appearances in all competitions last season as the Jim Ratcliffe-owned club finished ninth in Ligue 1.
