Manchester United fans are convinced Cristiano Ronaldo has decided his future after the forward uploaded a training photo on social media.
Ronaldo’s time at Old Trafford appeared to be up earlier this month as he reportedly asked to leave due to his frustration at the club’s lack of signings and his ambition to keep on playing Champions League football.
The 37-year-old has also been absent from United’s tour of South-East Asia and Australia due to ‘family reasons’, casting an even bigger doubt over his future. But his latest post on Instagram and Twitter has now given fresh hope to Red Devils fans.

Ronaldo broke his silence on Thursday by posting a photo of himself working out in peak physical condition. The Portugal captain was topless, but at a closer look appeared to be wearing a pair of United Adidas training shorts from last season.
And with Ronaldo personally being sponsored by Nike, fans were all in agreement as they took it to mean their legendary forward would be playing in Manchester next season.
One fan tweeted: “Not looking too much into that Ronaldo post but he’s wearing United shorts after not posting for 2 weeks and lots of speculation that he wants to leave that’s the first thing he posts."

Another commented: “Ronaldo in united shorts. He’s staying.”
A third added: “United shorts. Ronaldo stays. SIIIUUUUU.”
Chelsea were believed to be the frontrunners to sign Ronaldo, while a Saudi Arabian club offered United £25million for the forward. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich reportedly deemed Ronaldo’s wages too costly and pulled out of the race.
