Man Utd fans spot Rasmus Hojlund’s Instagram like which shows what he wants
Rasmus Hojlund's desire to join Manchester United has been spotted by eagle-eyed supporters.
Having signed midfielder Mason Mount and goalkeeper Andre Onana so far this summer, attention has now shifted to landing a much-needed striker. Danish hotshot is a target but United are finding it tricky to get a deal over the line, with his club, Atalanta, said to be wanting around £85million.
United have reportedly already agreed personal terms with Hojlund, who is said to have been a fan of the club since childhood. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said earlier this month: “Rasmus loves Man United, he was United fan as a kid and he’d love to play for Man United. I said that 100 times.”
The 20-year-old is clearly keeping abreast of developments at Old Trafford after he was spotted liking an Instagram post which showed new signing Onana with manager Erik ten Hag.

Hojlund’s social media activity gave fans hope he could yet be a United player come the start of next season.
“Hojlund wants #MUFC so badly,” posted the Stretford Paddock account. One supporter said: “The passion he will bring is what we have been missing in a striker.”

Another added: “He’s a Manchester Utd fan so why wouldn’t he be happy?” A fourth declared: “Yes, Mr Hoejlund wants us so much.”
A number of fans fumed at the Glazers, the club’s owners, who are still dallying over a potential sale of United.
“So sad, good players want to join us while we have disgusting owners,” they said.

With a deal for Hojlund in doubt, United are looking at other options and have reportedly keen Randal Kolo Muani, who enjoyed a prolific campaign with Eintracht Frankfurt last season.
Muani would certainly be cheaper than Hojlund, although there is a chance United could be outbid by Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich, who are also said to hold an interest in the player.
