Manchester United supporters flooded to social media in astonishment after seeing Cristiano Ronaldo "actually pressing" during their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Fred's second-half goal separated the two sides as United leapfrogged Arsenal into fifth place, though the Gunners have a game in hand.
Fans were keen to say how much of an impact new interim boss Ralf Rangnick was having on the players – particularly Ronaldo – despite the fact he's only taken charge of one training session.
The German is considered a pioneer of the fabled Gegenpress, Rangnick's teams are usually quite high-energy, and are traditionally fierce pressers of the ball.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, is not, which is why fans were taken aback after watching the 36-year-old pressing at Old Trafford on Sunday.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is pressing. What is life," wrote one fan on social media.
Another tweeted: "Ronaldo's actually pressing I cant believe it."
"Rangnick making Ronaldo work so hard! Look at him, he's actually pressing," wrote another.
Ronaldo sealed a sensational return to Man United in the summer, 11 years after leaving for Real Madrid in a world-record £80 million move.

Although he's started the season brightly – netting 12 goals in 16 games – critics argue that due to Ronaldo's lack of industry and reluctance to press, he's actually been hindering United more than he's been helping them.
Last month, a run of five defeats in seven league matches saw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lose his job after United found themselves 12 points off the top of the Premier League after just three months.
Ronaldo was notably dropped for United's trip to Chelsea last weekend – a game where the Red Devils had very little of the ball and organisation was key.
