Man Utd fans heckle Erling Haaland out on walk but Man City hotshot doesn’t care

Erling Haaland couldn't help but chuckle after being spotted by Manchester United supporters – who requested he turns his back on Manchester City next season.

The Norway international, who has scored 12 goals across just seven fixtures since leaving Borussia Dortmund for City in the summer, was once heavily linked with a move to the Red Devils.

Despite now joining their local rivals, whom he supported as a youngster, one fan couldn't help but ask him to make a U-turn when the current campaign comes to an end.

The fan shouted: "You've come to the wrong side of Manchester."

A smiling Haaland was swift to respond, saying: "They love me here"

With the supporter adding: "Come to us next season United, you know it come on… see you in a bit Haaland."

Having scored 10 goals across his first six Premier League fixtures, the 22-year-old took his overall Champions League tally to 25 goals from 20 matches with a brace against Sevilla.

Despite his form in front of goal, some have criticised Haaland's overall performances, which was discussed by Kevin De Bruyne this week.

De Bruyne said about his new team-mate: "I think the way he has adapted to us is really good.

"Outside the goalscoring there is still another part of the game and I think that part is maybe more tough to adapt to.

"But it makes it more exciting. If he can adjust to the way we play there, then the level is going to go up. That's what we demand from him. He knows and we know we can still do better but that's only positive."

When Haaland and City will next be active in the Premier League remains unclear after fixtures this weekend were postponed following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
