Man Utd fans convinced Casemiro was signed ‘to partner Ronaldo on the bench’
Fans are all saying the same thing about Manchester United new boy Casemiro.
The Brazilian holding midfielder joined from Real Madrid in the summer for a fee rising to £70m, just for him to keep the seat next to Ronaldo warm on the bench, with ten Hag choosing to ease him into the side rather than have him start the side's bigger matches. Despite United's form being up and down since the start of the season, the 30-year-old has struggled to make an impact.
Now, during the first half of the Manchester derby that saw United fall 4-0 to their local rivals in just 45 minutes, the camera panned to Casemiro looking equally as miserable as his former Real Madrid teammate Ronaldo as they sulked on the bench together.

One fan couldn't get their head around it. @obaoriade said: "Give me one reason why Casemiro should be on the bench just one reason! United fans."
Since arriving, Casemiro has made just three league appearances since joining, all of which came from the bench, as Scott McTominay continues to hold down his spot in the team, despite Casemiro boasting a number of La Liga and Champions League titles to his name.
