Man Utd fan switches to Spurs live on air and is called ‘disgrace to humanity’

A Manchester United fan who switched allegiances to Tottenham Hostpur live on talkSPORT has been slammed as a "disgrace to humanity".

The Red Devils stumbled yet again on Wednesday evening during their European quest, as they threw away a two-goal lead to Galatasaray. The result leaves United needing to beat Bayern Munich in their final group game and hope for a draw between FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray.

It all proved too much for one supporter, who revealed he has seen enough from Erik ten Hag's men when speaking on the radio. He fumed: "I'm deciding if I should be a Spurs fan, to be honest! I've watched Spurs this season, and they entertain me more than any other team. I've got to say, I love their football.

"I've been a Man United supporter for 45 years, and they are dross.. absolute dross!"

Jason Cundy, who was hosting, was fuming with his comments, and after getting him to sing 'Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur', he fumed: "You know what, you're a disgrace to the human race!" And fans on social media have agreed with Cundy.

"This sums up Man Utd fans! All looking for glory and when their club is in tatters they jump ship," one fan fumed. While a second said: "Blows my mind there’s people in the world like this!"

"Nah, people like this are a disgrace to humanity," a third replied. And another added: "If you're going to be a glory hunter… you might want to check Tottenham's record for the last 15 years…"

The fan continued: "I reached the end of my tether watching that game tonight (Wednesday), that guy, Onana, in the goal, if I was Erik ten Hag, I'd be on the phone to David De Gea saying 'please, for the love of God, come back to my club'.

"And I would dump that Onana to be a fourth-choice keeper and he'd never get a game again!"
