Man Utd ‘convinced’ Saul Niguez transfer can happen for just £45million
Manchester United are convinced they can sign Saul Niguez for £45million in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to be keen on signing a new midfielder this summer amid doubts over Paul Pogba's future at Old Trafford.
It is believed United chiefs are eyeing up a potential move for Saul, who is expected to leave Atletico Madrid this summer after falling out of favour under Diego Simeone.
And while they reportedly face competition from the likes of Liverpool and Bayern Munich, United fancy their chances of completing a £45million deal for the Spanish midfielder.
According to the Daily Mail, Red Devils chiefs feel that will be enough to prise Saul away from the Wanda Metropolitano this summer.
Liverpool are also said to be interested in the player, but it is believed United have the strongest chance of winning the race for his signature.

Red Devils hero Paul Ince has urged his former club to sign Saul this summer, insisting the midfielder is capable of scoring "special goals".
“What United fans want is exciting players and heroes in their team,” he said.
“There hasn’t been enough of those in recent years at United.
“You look at Manchester City. They’ve got Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva – at least three legends.
“It’s the same now with Liverpool. United don’t have that at the moment.
“I’ve watched Niguez for the last two or three years and I really like him.
“He’s got a lovely build and can score some special goals.
There’s a culture about him and he’s still young with plenty of potential.
