Man Utd ‘considering Brighton boss Graham Potter’ as Solskjaer replacement
Manchester United could reportedly consider Graham Potter as their next manager, should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer stay for now.
Solskjaer is under immense pressure after a 5-0 humiliation at the hands of Liverpool on Sunday.
Plenty of United fans left Old Trafford early with Mohamed Salah netting a hat-trick and the Red Devils looking all at sea.
The Athletic report Solskjaer will be given a chance to turn the fortunes around at the Premier League giants despite plenty of big names being linked to the job.
Antonio Conte and Brendan Rodgers are among the favourites, though former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is also available.
Though The Athletic add that Brighton manager Graham Potter could come under consideration if Solskjaer is given a longer stay of execution.
Potter took over at Brighton in 2019 having impressed during a season at Swansea.
He has a win percentage of 29.2 while with the Seagulls, though has only lost 36 of his 96 matches in charge.

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has previously praised Potter for his work, saying in August: "It is interesting there because you look at Graham Potter and I think he was courted by Tottenham in the summer and Brighton said, 'No, he is staying here'.
"They have obviously got a really good coach and when you watch Brighton last season there were games when you watched them and thought, 'They create so many chances'.

"Let's say they had a striker or two from one of the top two clubs they would win an awful lot of football games.
"They just haven't got that £30m, £40m, or £50m striker that is the difference at times between winning games and not. You look at Brighton and a lot of very good things happen at that club."
