Manchester United have reportedly made Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde their top target for the summer transfer window.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains eager to strengthen his defence with Kounde having emerged as one of La Liga's most promising defensive talents.
Bayern Munich, Juventus and Real Madrid are also believed to be interested in the 22-year-old French star.
Though The Sunday Mirror claim that Solskjaer has made Kounde his top target, even with a fee of £60m being touted.
It’s reported that the Red Devils have had Kounde on their radar since before Sevilla’s Europa League semi-final win over United last season.
Kounde fits the bill at Old Trafford too with the Premier League giants keen to sign young talented players.
Solskjaer has reportedly been told he will have money to spend on a centre-back, and could see the likes of Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo depart.
It comes just two years after the Red Devils splashed out £80m to sign Maguire from Leicester.
The Mirror add that Kounde is seen by United's coaches as the perfect option as the Old Trafford side look to compete for the Premier League title.

Kounde has previously spoken about his future, saying: “I am a Sevilla player, I am happy here.
“There is a phrase that we repeat a lot and sometimes it seems that it is said without thinking, but the reality is that in the world of football we never know what is going to happen.
“At the moment, I am a Sevilla player and I am very focused on what we have to do as a team. Today, I am staying at Sevilla.”
