Man Utd arrange unique medical examination ahead of fourth summer transfer deal

Manchester United are conducting pre-medical examinations on Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir ahead of a potential deal for the Turkey international shot-stopper. The Red Devils are working on a cut-price transfer for the 25-year-old in anticipation that Dean Henderson will depart the club.

But first, United want to ensure Bayindir will be fit to provide competition for Andre Onana upon arrival in the Premier League.

That’s because he is currently nursing a back injury that United want to assess before completing a move.

According to The Athletic, the tests are taking place in Greece with United poised to pay around £4.3million for Bayindir.

The Red Devils have looked at other goalkeeping options this summer including Zion Suzuki.
