Man Utd and Chelsea target Antony nowhere to be seen at Ajax pre-season training
Manchester United and Chelsea target Antony didn't turn up for the first day of pre-season training with Ajax.
The winger, 22, failed to make an appearance as Erik ten Hag's replacement Alfred Schreuder got to grips with his new squad. He is reportedly keen to follow his former boss to Old Trafford this summer after two years of working under him in the Eredivisie.
There's interest in him from Stamford Bridge too, but United chiefs appear to be in pole position after flying out to Amsterdam this week to try and wrap up a deal, with Ten Hag said to be eager for the transfer too.

Antony enjoyed a stellar campaign last time out, registering 12 goals and 10 assists in all competitions. He has three years left on his contract, though, so Ajax are in the driving seat for negotiations.
The Dutch side have also already made a tidy sum of money this summer, with the sale of Ryan Gravenberch to Bayern Munich and the imminent exit of Sebastian Haller to Borussia Dortmund raising around £50million.

They've therefore set their asking price at £69million, which is a significant increase on the £40m that United had in mind. Schreuder has made his stance clear, telling ESPN: "We want to keep Antony at Ajax. I want to work with him, and the club knows this."
But whether they will give in to Antony's demand remains to be seen. He hinted at a reunion with Ten Hag in his farewell social media post to him, writing: "I want to thank you for everything you taught me. Know that I will always stand with you if you need me."
