Manchester City celebrated their 3-0 derby win over United like they won the title, as Jeremy Doku sent a message to Antony over his wild lunge in stoppage time.

Two goals from Erling Haaland and one from Phil Foden gave the visitors all three points at Old Trafford, keeping them in line with Tottenham and Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table.

The formidable nature of the victory left Man City players celebrating wildly in the Old Trafford dressing room, with a week to prepare for Bournemouth on Saturday.

Footage posted by Doku on social media showed the team jumping up and down and chanting “Champions again, ole ole!”

It highlights the high level of confidence in Pep Guardiola’s camp at the moment, as well as the natural desire to celebrate a big win at a rival ground.

Erling Haaland put Man City ahead midway through the first-half with a penalty at Old Trafford

Man City are going for their fourth Premier League trophy in a row, and whilst they currently sit third in the table behind Arsenal on goals scored, they have the hope that the crucial three points at Old Trafford will be a springboard towards success.

In stoppage time, Man United’s Antony was booked for a wild lunge on Doku, after swiping at the winger’s ankles.

The two clashed as the former Ajax player went into the book, and then Doku posted a picture of the incident to his Instagram Stories.

Doku wrote ‘Stay calm…’ alongside a massage emoji, and ‘Manchester is Blue’ accompanied by a heart in City’s trademark colour.
