Man City star threw up in Jack Grealish's mum's handbag during Treble party

Manchester City star Ruben Dias threw up in the handbag of Jack Grealish’s mum Karen after overdoing it on shots during the club’s Treble celebrations, goalkeeper Ederson has revealed.

After their historic win over Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday, the City squad and staff partied in Istanbul and Ibiza before landing back in Manchester on Monday for more festivities.

Jack Grealish led the boozy celebrations but according to City shot stopper Ederson, other members of the squad couldn’t hold their drink as well as the former Aston Villa star.

Currently with Brazil on international duty, Ederson explained some players who don’t normally drink indulged in a couple to toast the Treble.

‘After a very exhausting and incredible season, only United had managed to do it, of course we have to enjoy and let our emotions out,’ Ederson said, Globo Esporte report.

‘These are months of intense work. Who drinks, drinks. 99% of the group drank, enjoyed it. Many players ended only on Monday. That’s part of it. Gotta enjoy the good times.’

He continued: ‘The missing 1% is Nathan Aké, there are others who don’t drink, but they made an exception.

‘Ruben Dias went to make that exception, but it didn’t work out for him. Two shots and he blew it all out. Coincidentally, it was all in Jack Grealish’s mother’s bag.’

City’s England stars this week joined up with the international squad with Grealish, Phil Foden, Kyle Walker and Kalvin Phillips all under consideration to play on Friday night despite the draining week.

‘I’ve spoken with them (the City players) when they arrived, firstly to say what an incredible achievement and also huge congratulations to the whole club and Pep (Guardiola),’ England boss Southgate said on Thursday.

‘We said; ‘Look, were heading into the unknown here’. There’s no way of knowing individually how they’re going to react and respond to what they’ve been through.

‘Huge emotion, celebration, the need to get back into training and the group.

‘They’re all available for tomorrow but I’ve yet to decide whether that’s a good decision. We have strength in depth in a lot of those positions as well.’
