Man City star Ederson taunts ‘crying’ Arsenal fans during thrashing
Guardiola gives verdict on Man City's win over Arsenal
Ederson was spotted mocking Arsenal fans as Manchester City destroyed their Premier League title rivals on Wednesday night. The Etihad Stadium hosted a 4-1 masterclass from Pep Guardiola’s defending champions, and Ederson revelled in the triumph by riling up the away support.
Arsenal fans will have been dreading the long journey home after suffering a mauling at the hands of City.
And Ederson’s late antics would’ve only made matters worse, leaving the away section fuming as he grinned with his tongue out while gesturing with his hands as if wiping away tears.
The home faithful roared Ederson on as he smiled and walked back into his goal, knowing City’s job was done in their pursuit of the treble.
The Brazilian suffered a late blow to his Premier League Golden Glove hopes as Rob Holding fired in a consolation strike for the visitors.
