Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has been ruled out for several months with a "serious" injury.
The Belgian playmaker limped off the field during City's 3-0 win over Burnley on their opening fixture of the Premier League season.
He lasted just 23 minutes before the same hamstring issue that saw him taken off during the Champions League final victory over Inter Milan began to cause him problems again. De Bruyne left the pitch in tears in Istanbul in what would become the side's greatest ever night in Europe.
And now the reigning Premier League champions have suffered a potential blow to their title hopes with the 32-year-old being ruled out for a "few months".

Speaking in his press conference, manager Pep Guardiola said: “Kevin De Bruyne’s injury is serious one. He will be out for a few months. We have to decide in the next days on surgery but for sure we lose Kevin for some time.
"We will decide in the next days. Surgery is surgery, three or four months out."
Asked whether De Bruyne will see Dr Ramon Cugat, Guardiola said: "He saw the images, saw them personally. Two or three doctors had the same opinion…"
