Lucas Paqueta teases Declan Rice as West Ham fans cling to hope he snubs Arsenal
Lucas Paqueta has teased Declan Rice over his West Ham future by telling the club captain to stay at the London Stadium for one more year.
The Brazil international sent a message to his colleague on Instagram after Rice posted a snap of the duo hugging during their Europa Conference final triumph – in which the club ended their 43-year trophy drought.
Rice captioned his snap: "Our Brazilian magnificooooo." Paqueta added in response when sharing the photo to his own story: "One more." With heart, fire and the covering mouth emoji.
Fans were quick to react on Twitter, as one wrote: "Paqueta knows what he’s doing." A second added: "It’s all starting to get real now." A third said: "HE’S ACTUALLY GOING TO STAY ISN’T HE."

Rice has made a total of 245 appearances for the club since his 2017 breakthrough, but has now been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal.
The 24-year-old got fans excited earlier in the week by telling as young fan that West Ham is 'his club' when asked who he wanted to play for next season.
That came after he was coy over his plans following the 2-1 win over Fiorentina, in which Jarrod Bowen scored a last-gasp winning goal.

Rice said of his future to BT Sport last week: "At the moment there’s a lot of speculation going on about my future, there’s interest from other clubs, that’s out there, but ultimately I’ve still got two more years at West Ham.
"I love this club, I love playing for this club. There hasn’t been nothing yet, so my focus is on playing for West Ham, enjoying tonight and seeing what happens.
"I’m captain of this club, I absolutely love it to pieces and cannot speak highly enough of this place so let’s just see what happens. Let’s just wait and see."
Co-owner David Sullivan told BBC Radio 5 Live: "We gave the promise last summer that if he gave us his all, we would let him leave the club.
"West Ham is a very proper club, and we do things in a proper way.
"At the same time, we don't want some club having us over and a replacement is going to cost 50 to 60 million and they're not going to be as good as him."
Hammers fans have been chanting "one more year, one more year, Declan Rice" for months, and they're still just about hoping it could happen.
