Lou Macari says he ‘has never heard’ of Adrien Rabiot in brutal MUTV rant
Manchester United hero Lou Macari admitted that he had 'never really heard' of Adrien Rabiot before slamming their interest in the midfielder – while on their in-house TV channel.
The 73-year-old, who played over 400 games for the club between 1973 and 1974, appeared alongside presenter Mark Sullivan – who innocently asked for his views on Juventus star Rabiot.
The 27-year-old, who has won year left on his contract in Serie A, has made 129 appearances for his current side since clashing with PSG supporters – and his mum clashing with the families of his France team-mates.

"I'd never really heard of him," Macari began on MUTV, with United thought to be in the closing stages of securing a permanent transfer.
"32 league games last season, no goals. Other qualities? I'm not sure I see them. It is about the black and white.
"Clubs spend millions of pounds scouting players across Europe, but nobody else has made a move for this fella.

"Monaco (who are also interested) is good for going on holiday. But what's the football team ever done? So for them to be interested in him, means nothing.
"None of the other English clubs are in for him. Why do you think this is? I have got a bad feeling about the guy."
United fans were left slightly baffled by the outburst – while others agreed with Macari's stance.
One fan wrote: "No tabs or filters, just straight up facts. Love to see it."
With a second adding: "Embarrassing to be honest…. Doesn’t know anything about a French international and Juve starter…"
With a third writing: "Fair play Lou Macari, honest and accurate."
