Toronto FC star Lorenzo Insigne was seen arguing and swearing at one of his side’s fans during their recent MLS match.
Insigne’s side suffered a 3-2 defeat to FC Cincinnati on Saturday night after Brandon Vazquez and Aaron Boupendza struck to seal all three points for the visitors.
It was yet another disappointing result for Toronto, who currently sit bottom of the Eastern Conference table – with just 22 points from 31 games.
And the growing concerns from the fanbase boiled over on Saturday night as Insigne – who is currently injured – clashed with one of Toronto’s supporters.
In a video that has since gone viral on X (formerly Twitter), the Italian can be seen shouting and swearing in the direction of the home supporters.
He shouts: ‘Hey, f*** you! Respect!’ before turning back and heading towards the corporate seating section.

It’s unclear what instigated the argument which occurred midway through the match at the BMO Field.
During the game, Toronto came from behind on two separate occassions – to bring the game level – before Boupendza scored the all-important winner in the 72nd minute.
Insigne has spent two years with the MLS side, since leaving Napoli in 2022, and has managed to score 11 goals and record six assists from his 32 appearances.
It comes as the latest unsavoury story regarding the club, after Toronto and Italy midfielder Federico Bernardeschi was repeatedly told off for vaping around the team in May.
Reports by The Athletic add that the incidents with the 29-year-old midfielder, who is paid £5.16million a year ($6.3million), have happened despite being told several times to stop.
Italy international Bernardeschi – who has 39 caps to his name – is one of the standout names for Toronto and has scored three times in 14 appearances so far this season.
