London station brilliantly ‘renamed’ for England vs Denmark Euro 2020 clash

There is plenty of excitement around England ahead of the national team’s Euro 2020 semi-final against Denmark at Wembley tonight, and train stations are no exception.

Southeastern Railway are soaking in the occasion and decided to take a dig at the Danish national team on their Twitter feed, showing their support for Gareth Southgate’s team.

On social media, they shared a doctored image of the Denmark Hill station in London, photoshopping it to show as “Denmark nil” and they used the caption “What do you reckon the score will be later? Oh, I dunno, England 6-“ to indicate the Three Lions would win 6-0 tonight.

The nation has been in a buoyant mood ahead of the game tonight.

Elsewhere in London, two Underground workers, Jeremy Chopra and Ian Redpath, have become famous for posting uplifting messages on the North Greenwich Tube station since March 2017 and today, the message related to “It’s Coming Home,” discussing the origins and ending with a question “Perhaps it’s time for IT to come home?”

Elsewhere, an Essex-based fan, Lee Johnson, covered his house in 64 England flag to back his country at the Euros this summer, and it’s all for a good cause.
