Liverpool hero Caoimhin Kelleher held nothing back after dropping F-bomb on live TV just moments after helping his club to a dramatic Carabao Cup win.
The goalkeeper had just led the Reds to their first triumph in the competition since 2012 after an incredible final at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
In a penalty shootout that saw every player take a spot-kick, Kelleher scored the decisive one to make it 21 scored out of 21.
Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was subbed on for Edouard Mendy to be Chelsea’s penalty specialist, blazed his effort over the bar to hand Liverpool the trophy.
And Kelleher could not contain his emotions when interviewed by LFC TV shortly after, when the host Peter McDowall told him: “The lads will want you to give them a song on the bus back, I think.”
Immediately, the Irishman replied: “Oh f***ing hell”, which sent Robbie Fowler, stood next to him, into fits of giggles.
McDowall then quickly said: “We’ll let him off with that, still emotional!”
And the emotions were riding high around Wembley as fans got to see their club lift a domestic trophy for the first time since 2012 when Liverpool beat Cardiff on penalties.
This time, there were no goals to celebrate after that match 10 years ago finished 2-2 after extra time but it was still drenched in drama.
Joel Matip and Romelu Lukaku had goals disallowed after VAR ruled them both offside in a topsy-turvy final that could have gone either way, while Kai Havertz had two goals chalked off by the linesman for offside.
Jurgen Klopp took a huge risk keeping Kelleher in goal with the 23-year-old the preferred option throughout the tournament but the German coach explained his decision, which was duly vindicated after a string of crucial saves.
He said: "Even in professional football there should be space for some sentiment.
"Caoimhin Kelleher is a young boy, plays in all the competition, what do I do?

"I am two things, a professional manager and a human being and the human being won. He deserves it.
"At the training centre we have a wall that all goalkeepers are on who won something and Caoimhin can go on it – that's how it should be – absolutely great.
"I am happy for the people to celebrate something like this. Chelsea are incredibly strong, we matched each other.
"That is the start, we are not silly. We need to have luck – we had luck, that could have been 5-5."
