Jurgen Klopp makes two changes to the side that were held to a 0-0 draw by 10-man Arsenal in midweek. James Milner drops out for Curtis Jones in midfield while Takumi Minamino – who missed a gilt-edged chance in the final knockings of that game – is replaced by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Good afternoon! Yesterday saw thrilling action in the Premier League, capped off with Man City extending their lead at the top of the table to 13 points, and today the action continues with Liverpool taking on Brentford at Anfield.
Put simply, the Reds HAVE to win today to keep in touch with Pep Guardiola’s champions. They are currently 14 points adrift but, with two games in hand, can cut that deficit to eight points and will need a victory in Merseyside this afternoon to keep up.
Stay tuned as we build up towards the 2pm kick off, with team news to come shortly.
