Liverpool team news vs Leeds as Jurgen Klopp reintroduces key stars
Klopp admits defeat in Liverpool's pursuit of Bellingham
Liverpool travel to Elland Road to face relegation-threatened Leeds United on Monday, searching to cease their five-game winless run. Express Sport provides Jurgen Klopp’s latest team news and how he could line up on an important night in West Yorkshire.
Goalkeeper – Alisson
During his press conference on Friday, Klopp revealed that Alisson had missed two days of training during the week.
However, the Brazilian stopper practised on his own later in the day and is expected to feature at Elland Road.
Defence – Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson
Trent Alexander-Arnold endured a horror first half against Arsenal before showcasing the attacking attributes that make him so valuable.
He should start at right-back with Andrew Robertson on the opposite flank, fresh from ‘elbowgate’ after a brief investigation into the incident.
Klopp mentioned that Konate had also missed two days of training on Friday but hoped he’d join Alisson in returning to the pitch later in the day.
The Frenchman should get the nod alongside Virgil van Dijk, who will want to respond to his heavily-criticised display against Arsenal with a strong showing.

Midfield – Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago
Stefan Bajcetic remains alongside Calvin Ramsay as Liverpool stars who will miss the remainder of the season.
Naby Keita is also a doubt after missing the Reds’ last three games.
But Klopp has confirmed that Thiago, who featured off the bench against Arsenal, is in contention to start the trip to Leeds.
He could join Fabinho and Jordan Henderson in the German’s midfield three.

Attack – Salah, Nunez, Gakpo
Mohamed Salah started Liverpool’s comeback in the 2-2 draw against the Gunners and is expected to keep his place.
Darwin Nunez will have been disappointed to sit on the bench last time out, but he could replace Diogo Jota on the left wing after another underwhelming performance by the latter.
Cody Gakpo is likely to continue as the Reds’ striker.
Klopp has confirmed that Luis Diaz is ready to sit among the substitutes as he nears a return to full fitness after a prolonged spell on the sidelines.
