As we head into the festive period clubs are engaging in seasonal activities, and Liverpool are no different as Mane and Mohamed Salah were involved in a touching virtual meet and greet with patients at the Alder Hey children hospital.

Liverpool recently treated supporters to a stunning 5-0 victory over Manchester United, which was enough to make any fans year, let alone their Christmas.

And Mane hilariously referenced the brutal scoreline when meeting a young Reds fan currently at the children's hosptial.

During one call with a young lad, Mane and Salah ask him if he's a Liverpool fan, to which he replied: "Yes, but my brother is Man Utd."

The admission got a savage response from Mane who proceeded to facepalm, and the Liverpool forward then added: "Oooooh wrong team. Have you seen the last game against them?"

The boy loved the reaction, and beamed along with every other Liverpool fan watching, and just to ensure that the scoreline was mentioned, he replied: "yeah, 5-0."
