Liverpool star Fabinho shows off his Scouse accent in holiday clip
Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has left supporters in stitches following his attempt at a Scouse accent – asking his Instagram followers if they "want some chicken lad" during a Q&A.
The 27-year-old, who will be ready for the start of the new Premier League season following his Copa America disappointment with Brazil, is currently enjoying some down time.
While tending to his social media profile, Fabinho took part in a question session with his 2m followers, and one of those asked if he knew any Scouse.
Scouse is an accent associated with Liverpool and Merseyside, and can initially be tricky to understand for those who do not count English as their first language.
With the former Monaco man ready to begin his fourth season with the Reds, he knew exactly the phrase he needed to say, asking: "You want some chicken lad?"
The attempt has been met by a delighted fanbase, one of whom said: "Just heard it on his story. I reckon he’s on holiday with Trent."
Another saying: "Best thing I’ve ever heard haha."
With a third adding: "Hahaha thats amazing."

Ahead of the new campaign, the former Real Madrid man is pleased to be going back into midfield after deputising for the injured Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez last time out.
He told Sky Sports in April: "I learnt to enjoy playing this position because at first I didn't really enjoy it!
"But then thanks to my team-mates I improved a lot and learnt some things about the position, about leadership as well because in this position you can see almost everything, so we had to try to organise the team as well."
Adding: "In midfield, you touch the ball more and, in the offensive part, have a bigger importance than you can have at centre-half.
"But my focus first of all is always to try to protect the defence without the ball, to try to close the gaps.
"Then, when we have the ball and lose it, to try to recover it as quickly as possible."
