The Liverpool squad headed to Leyton Orient’s Brisbane Road this morning to warm up for their game against Tottenham. The Reds are back in action tonight in north London when they travel to Spurs in the Premier League, following last Sunday’s 3-2 defeat at Manchester United in the FA Cup.

Jurgen Klopp’s side took the chance to embark on a warm-up session earlier today at Leyton Orient, who kindly landed their facilities.

It’s a ritual that is a common occurrence for the Reds, who have also trained at Crawley this season ahead of their match with Brighton.

Pictures and videos were leaked online of the warm-up and fans on social media spotted one notable absence.

Defensive lynchpin Fabinho appeared to be absent, sparking fears that he may be out of tonight’s contest.

The Brazilian has held Liverpool together at times in the absence of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez, who suffered long-term knee injuries at the beginning of the season.

Joel Matip and Jordan Henderson are both expected to return tonight having missed the defeat at United.

Henderson may be given the green light to return into midfield after a short spell at centre-back.

Although Fabinho miss the contest, Henderson is likely to slot back in at the heart of defence.

Klopp confirmed on Wednesday that he had no new fitness concerns.

He said: “No new cases [injuries] and Hendo and Joel trained yesterday with the team fully.

“Like always with these things we have to see how they react overnight and what they can do today, but they trained yesterday.”

Sadio Mane is also expected to be recalled to the starting XI after starting on the bench at Old Trafford.

The Reds will be desperate to finally break their goalscoring duck against Jose Mourinho’s side, who they beat 2-1 at Anfield in December.
