Liverpool are considering a move for Porto winger Luis Diaz in the January transfer window
Diaz, who is usually deployed on the left flank, played 90 minutes in both of Porto’s games against Liverpool, and, although the 24-year-old ended up on the losing side on both occasions, he still showed glimpses of his ability.
A Colombia international, Diaz joined Porto from Junior in his homeland in 2019.
So far Diaz has made 115 appearances for Porto, during which he has scored 36 goals and has provided 15 assists.

Klopp needs cover for when Mohamed Salah and Saido Mane are at the Africa Cup of Nations
The Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Cameroon between January 9 and February 6.
Being without Salah and Mane for an extended period is certainly set to be difficult for Liverpool, but the arrival of a player of Diaz’s quality would make matters considerably better.
Harvey Elliott started the season well for Liverpool but the talented youngster suffered a dislocated ankle in September and the club are eager not to rush him back from injury.
Liverpool will hope that the absences of Salah and Mane won’t prove too costly in their bid to regain the Premier League title.
Klopp’s side are currently second in the table, one point adrift of Chelsea, who have played a game less.
