Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Ozan Kabak is a doubt for Fulham’s visit to Anfield this weekend in what is another defensive blow for Liverpool.
The Liverpool boss confirmed on Friday that the Turkish defender picked up a ‘little problem’ after their disappointing defeat by Chelsea and could miss the Reds’ next Premier League game on Sunday.
While the 20-year-old’s injury is not feared to be serious, it means he joins a long list of injured stars for Liverpool, with the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez set to miss the rest of the campaign.

And when quizzed about Fabinho’s return to the starting XI, Klopp revealed that he will likely be without the Schalke loanee for the Cottagers’ visit.
‘We had the problem that Nat Phillips would play with Ozan [Kabak] but couldn’t play,’ Klopp told reporters.
‘So now do we take an unexperienced pairing on the pitch or do we take Fabinho? We decided for Fabinho.
‘Now Ozan yesterday, after the game, had a little problem after playing a lot of games and we will see if he’s ready for Fulham – it doesn’t look like it at the moment.’
The 20-year-old defender played the full 90 minutes against the Blues on Thursday evening
Since arriving on loan in January, Kabak has been thrown into the deep end considering Liverpool’s defensive woes and has featured five times already.
Kabak went on to play the full 90 minutes in the 1-0 defeat by Chelsea on Thursday, as well as his four previous games in a Liverpool shirt, and is now struggling with a slight injury issue, according to Klopp.
It means Kabak joins Van Dijk, Gomez, Joel Matip, Jordan Henderson and James Milner on the treatment table, while the likes of Fabinho, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker, Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota have all missed a large amount of games due to injury this season.
