Liverpool flop Gulascsi gifts striker ball 30 yards from net in unreal blunder
Former Liverpool goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi had a night to forget as RB Leipzig crashed to a 4-1 defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Gulacsi, 32, had a forgettable five-year spell at Anfield from 2007 to 2013, making a grand total of zero appearances for the Reds. Following loan spells at Hereford United, Tranmere Rovers and Hull City, none of whom quite made it to the Champions League, Gulacsi joined Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig.
The Hungarian has established himself as Leipzig's no.1 over the last six years, but he made a horrible mistake on Tuesday night as Domenico Tedesco's side got their European campaign off to the worst possible start.

Shakhtar scored their first goal of the evening courtesy of some horrendous goalkeeping from Gulacsi, who tried to be slightly too clever with the ball in the middle of the Leipzig half.
After faking to pass, he allowed Shakhtar forward Marian Shved to get closer and closer to him. Then, in a clip straight from Danny Baker's Own Goals & Gaffes, Gulacsi miskicked the ball, allowing Shved to roll it into an empty net.

It was a moment to forget for the veteran stopper who came in for pelters on social media. "Outstanding from Gulacsi there. Proper blunder," wrote one viewer.
As another said: "WHAT THE F*** Peter Gulacsi." Someone else wrote: "Worst goalkeeping from Gulacsi I have ever seen." While a fourth user chimed in with: "Gulacsi what the actual fuck are you doing."
Gulasci looked gutted at his costly error, and his night didn't get much better as Shakhtar ran riot in Germany, scoring three more times after Mohamed Simakan had drawn the hosts level.
Shved restored their lead a minute later as he got his name on the scoresheet for a second time with a heavily-deflected strike. Mykhaylo then added a third on 76 minutes before Lassina Traore wrapped up a memorable win for the Ukrainian side with five minutes left on the clock.
