Liverpool fans leave message to Klopp at Anfield following Leicester defeat

Liverpool fans have left a message of support for Jurgen Klopp outside Anfield.

The German watched on as his Reds side lost 3-1 at Leicester on Saturday, their third defeat in a row.

An emotional Klopp conceded that their title challenge was over following the reverse at the King Power.

But the Kop faithful have reassured the Liverpool boss that he is their man by hanging a banner outside their famous home stand.

"Jurgen Klopp YNWA" read the banner.

The 53-year-old has spent over five years in charge of the Merseyside outfit and ended their 30-year title drought last season.

Prior to that he also delivered the Champions League with a win over Tottenham in Madrid.

But a poor recent run of results has seen Liverpool slide down the league and their top four spot is now in doubt.

Klopp's odds on being sacked have been slashed as rumours of him leaving Anfield begin to circulate.

He currently has a contract until 2024 and told Kicker magazine recently : "I have absolute energy. But I have one problem. I can't do 'a little bit'. I can only do 'all or nothing'.

"When I decide that I cannot do it any longer then I will take a break for a year."

He went on to tell another German publication: "I'll take a year off [after my contract ends] and ask myself if I miss football.

"If I say no, then that will be the end of coach Jurgen Klopp. If one day I am no longer a coach, there is one thing I will not miss: the brutal tension immediately before the game."

Klopp spent seven years in charge of Borussia Dortmund before calling it a day in 2015.

He has previously been linked with the Bayern Munich hot seat as well as the German national team.
