Liverpool fans begin GoFundMe page to sign Mbappe and targets £250m
Liverpool fans are desperate for a squad rebuild this summer, and one fan has gone to the next level by creating a gofundme page to raise funds for a move for Kylian Mbappe.
The Paris Saint-Germain wonderkid is one of the most valuable players in world football, with Transfermarkt listing his asking price as £162million.
Having signed for PSG from Monaco for £166m – a world-record fee for a teenager – it is unlikely he'll be sold for anything less than an eyewatering fee.
And that's why one Liverpool fan wants to raise £250m for a bid in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Liverpool are expected to go after a new striker in the upcoming window.
The Reds have been terrible going forward this calendar year, and have now gone more than ten hours without scoring from open play at Anfield.
They have been tipped to part ways with either Mohamed Salah or Roberto Firmino this summer, with a new forward targeted.
Mbappe has been linked with a move to Anfield in the past, and hasn't been shy about talking up the club.
And he could well move on from the Parc des Princes this summer due to his contractual situation.
The 2018 World Cup-winner will become a free agent in 2022 unless he signs a new contract, and there is currently no indication that he will.

Reports have suggested he has already told PSG officials that he wants to leave this summer.
PSG face the nightmare scenario of losing him on a free in January if they don't sanction a sale this year.
For that reason, Liverpool could potentially end up getting him for a cut-price fee, though they'll still likely have to break their club transfer record of £75m.
