Liverpool face huge Salah decision if £80m is offered for star goalscorer
Liverpool are facing a huge decision ahead of the summer transfer window considering Mohamed Salah.
The Reds have a number of players that are being scouted over potential arrivals when the season is over.
Jurgen Klopp has seen his side try defend their first-ever Premier League title but ultimately, it looks set to end in failure.
Injuries to Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez have disrupted their season and they would be happy to get a spot in the top four, let alone the title.
As a result, Liverpool are looking to react in the transfer window and Klopp might have to revitalise the squad with several signings.
One player being looked at is Ibrahima Konate of RB Leipzig but more attacking options have also been mooted.
But paying for such a summer spree requires a big sale and they could get the money they need from offloading one of their best players in the shape of Salah.
The Egypt international has been linked with a move away throughout the season with Real Madrid and Barcelona interested.
There have been murmurs of discontent while the 28-year-old has two years left on his contract.
It means that this summer might be the only chance Liverpool have of getting a good price for the former Roma star, whose value would drop with one year.

According to ESPN, if a £80m bid was to arrive at the door at Anfield, the Reds might have trouble turning it down.
Despite this situation, Salah remains a key performer for Liverpool and is the top scorer this season with 25 in all competitions.
In fact, his antics in front of goal have been incredible from the moment he moved to Merseyside with 119 goals in 192 appearances.
The pandemic has had a knock-on effect for clubs around the world, meaning big-money transfers look unlikely, yet for the likes of Real and Barca, Salah would be a dream signing.
