Jurgen Klopp was in celebratory mood after Liverpool’s victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday as decided to hand out beers to some of the club’s fans after the game.

The Reds travelled to south London knowing that a win would cut the gap at the top of the table to nine points, with Klopp’s men also having a game in hand on leaders Manchester City.

Despite Palace putting up a good fight, particularly in the second half, Liverpool managed to see off their opponents 3-1 thanks to goals from Virgil van Dijk, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fabinho.

Following that important win, Klopp was happy to show his appreciation to supporters who had made the trip to the capital by stepping off the team bus to give them bottles of beer.

His actions were widely praised on social media, with many quick to point out that this was another example of Klopp’s strong relationship with the club’s fanbase.

Social media influencer Dean Coombes, who captured the footage, remarked that Klopp is the ‘best thing to happen to this club’, while another fan appeared to be in total agreement as he wrote: ‘Brilliant, love Klopp.’
