Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp facing a dilemma with three forgotten players
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is faced with a dilemma over three forgotten members of his first-team squad. With just three weeks of the summer window remaining, a decision is needed to be made on the trio.
Liverpool have seen some major departures from the club this summer. Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita all left at the end of their contracts
Jordan Henderson and Fabinho have since left to move to the Saudi Pro League. Youngsters Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay are among those to have gone out on loan.
But there are still question marks over the futures of three players in particular. Express Sport looks at each on an individual basis.

Kaide Gordon
Gordon made five first-team appearances for Liverpool between September 2021 and January 2022. However, he has not played a single minute since.
The winger has suffered from a pelvic issue which sidelined him for 17 months. He returned to training in July as he attempts to return to full match fitness.
Klopp must decide whether it is best to keep a close eye on the 18-year-old and give him a chance in cup competitions, or allow him to go out on loan and gain experience.

Nat Phillips
Phillips has been linked with a move away from Liverpool throughout much of the summer. The Reds have been hoping to bring in £10million for the centre-back.
Leeds are among the clubs to have been interested in signing Phillips. However, Liverpool may have to reduce their asking price, perhaps down to £5m, in order to facilitate his exit.
He played only five times in all competitions last season, making just two starts. Phillips has entered the final two years of his contract at Anfield.
The 23/24 home shirt for Liverpool pays homage to the past of the club, as well as collaborator Nike, with a strong 1970s influence. The iconic red, capped with bold white cuffs and collar really does invoke that classic Liverpool FC style while adding a cool retro touch
Tyler Morton
Morton hasn’t featured heavily in pre-season after returning from a loan spell at Blackburn. He made 46 appearances for Rovers last term, gaining valuable experience at senior level.
Klopp may be reluctant to let him go out on loan again due to his limited options in midfield, especially in defensive midfield. Morton played nine times for the Reds during the 2021/22 campaign before his spell at Ewood Park.
However, if Liverpool make a further signing or two before the window shuts, Morton may be sent out again. Liverpool are now interested in Brighton’s Moises Caicedo after having three bids rejected by Southampton for Romeo Lavia.
