- Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen on bringing Ryan Gravenberch to the club
- The Dutch international was frustrated by a lack of game time last year at Bayern
- A deal will have to wait until after this summer’s U21 European Championships
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has sought to quiet the speculation surrounding the future of Liverpool target Ryan Gravenberch by insisting the youngster will see more game time next season.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are embarking on a crucial summer overhaul with several additions expected in midfield to add to their signing of ex-Brighton man Alexis Mac Allister.
And the Liverpool boss, who is reportedly an admirer of the 21-year-old, is pushing for his signing this summer after he was left frustrated by a lack of regular football in his first season with the Bavarians.
Rumours surrounding Gravenberch’s future have prompted Hainer to address the situation and insist the Dutch international will get his opportunity next term.
‘In my opinion, he is an incredibly talented player,’ he told Bild. ‘That’s why we brought him.

‘He got more playing time towards the end of the season. I’m sure he’ll get more playing time in the future.’
Any move for Gravenberch will have to wait until after the Netherlands’ U21 European Championships campaign, which could be as late as July 8th should they reach the final in Georgia.
The Reds could also face serious competition for his signature from their rivals Manchester United, whose manager, Erik ten Hag, coached the youngster at Ajax.
United approached Gravenberch last summer but missed out on the signing as the youngster had already opted to join Bayern.
Liverpool meanwhile have been linked with a host of names as they refresh their roster after a disappointing campaign. Nice’s Khephren Thuram and Manu Kone of Borussia Borussia Mönchengladbach are believed to be high on the club’s list of targets.
