Liverpool ‘already considering scrapping Arthur Melo’s loan’ to then replace him
Liverpool are said to already be on the verge of deciding to scrap deadline-day loan signing Arthur Melo.
The Brazilian midfielder joined the Reds on the last day of the transfer window as Jurgen Klopp scrambled to strengthen his injury-hit team after weeks of hinting that another signing was on the cards.
Despite the aesthetic of the signing looking rather nice, with the 26-year-old being seen as a typical Klopp signing, it's now been reported that the German is already looking to cut short his loan spell in January, despite the club putting an option to buy in the agreement.

The Juventus loanee has only played 15 minutes for the Merseyside team, with that coming in the 4-1 humiliation away at Napoli in the Champions League, not giving the best impression to his new gaffer.
Tuttomercatoweb has now reported that the coaches at Liverpool have their heads in their hands as the playmaker isn't thought to be up to scratch.

The Italian website has also suggested that the club is set to scout around the market in pursuit of a new midfielder to sign in January, and if the hunt is a success Arthur will be put on a flight back to Turin.
The former Barcelona talent has been left in a tricky situation, with him already being put out in the cold by Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri, and the move to Liverpool was seen as his chance to get his career back on track.
With Klopp reportedly chomping at the bit for England and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham – who scored for Borussia Dortmund against Manchester City in the Champions League this week – it could be an interesting winter for Liverpool fans.
