Liverpool 2021/22 away kit leaked as Nike opt for 1990s throwback look
Liverpool's away kit for the 2021/22 has been leaked online, with the Nike shirt a throwback to a similar kit from the 1990s.
The Reds' home strip for next campaign was also recently leaked after being pictured for sale in an unknown shop.
It's expected the club's new home kit will be unveiled on the final day of the Premier League season as the Reds host Crystal Palace on May 23.
The away kit is unlikely to be fully released until June at the earliest, though fans may have already been given a glimpse of what to expect.
Twitter page Footy Headlines believe this to be the new design, which was well-received by supporters on social media.
As has often been the case in recent years, this proposed kit has been inspired by a previous shirt.
The Reds' away shirt of the 1996/97 season was liked by many fans and is still worn due to its retro feel.
Liverpool will be hoping to improve on their first year with Nike as their kit manufacturers.
The Reds, who won the Premier League title and the Champions League during their time with former kit suppliers New Balance, have endured a tough campaign.
Securing a top-four finish remains a possibility, but Liverpool cannot afford to drop any points in their remaining matches.
Jurgen Klopp's side face Manchester United this evening, in the first of four must-win fixtures.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rested a number of first-team players in a 2-1 defeat to Leicester City on Tuesday but is expected to name a full-strength team on this occasion.
