Ligue 1 ‘revelation’ emerges as new name being tracked by Man Utd
Brest midfielder Romain Faivre is being tracked by Manchester United having been hailed as a "revelation" by the national media.
The 22-year-old Frenchman left Monaco in the summer to join their Ligue 1 rivals.
Faivre has begun to show his quality at the midtable side and been involved in seven goals in 17 appearances.
He has scored four of those and his impressive performances have seen Brest tie him down to a contract that runs until 2025.
That hasn't stopped admirers from gathering however with United and PSG both keeping tabs on the player, according to Le10 Sport.
Faivre is understood to be aware of the interest which is making him "want to continue his extraordinary rise".
The Brest star is not the only Ligue 1 player to be linked with a switch to Old Trafford.
Rennes' Eduardo Camavinga is also thought to be on their radar but the Red Devils are more likely to utilise the transfer market come the summer.
United have looked to add young talent under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Norwegian has shown a willingness to buy more experienced players, like Bruno Fernandes, but as a rule has looked to implement some sort of transfer strategy.
It has led to the additions of Daniel James amd Aaron Wan-Bissaka and is also behind their interest in the likes of Jadon Sancho.
The Borussia Dortmund star scored and assisted in their win over RB Leipzig on Saturday night.
United were unable to get a deal over the line for the English international in the summer.
It capped on a poor few months of recruitment but it has not hindered their season as they remain in contention for the title.
