Leicester fan evades security to take selfie with James Maddison during match
James Maddison took part in a selfie with a pitch invader during Leicester's Community Shield clash against Manchester City at Wembley – with viewers left baffled by the lack of stewards.
Brendan Rodgers watched his side take the victory thanks to Kelechi Iheanacho's late penalty, but the most unusual moment of the encounter came courtesy of a spectator.
After grabbed a ticket for the encounter at the national stadium, one attendee thought it would be a good idea to jump out of the stands and approach the field of play.
Despite being a long way from the cameras, the fan could unmistakably be seen taking a snap with Maddison while City defenders regrouped ahead of a Leicester set-piece.
Gary Lineker spotted the incident and wrote on Twitter: "A mid game selfie with @Madders10, as you do."
With many others questioning how the fan could get so close without being grabbed.
One said: "Can’t believe no one did anything."
With a second adding: "Customary Wembley security."
While Maddison didn't manage to get a goal or assist on his return to action, Foxes fans will be keen for the transfer window to shut as Arsenal continue to be linked with a move.

When asked about the Gunners rumours, former Manchester United skipper Roy Keane questioned why the 24-year-old might want to walk away from Leicester despite their success.
Keane said on ITV: "Arsenal are a huge club. (But) at this moment in time I don’t believe to leave Leicester where they are is a step up to go to Arsenal.
"Probably backwards [step] At this moment in time, Arsenal is a huge club, Leicester where they are challenging for the Champions League, they won a trophy last year. Arsenal are short yet."
Adding: "Maybe he might just fancy a bit of change, maybe just fancy a bit of London? I don’t know.
"It’s a difficult one, Jamie Vardy had an opportunity to go to Arsenal he turned it down. He got big money, turned it down, he got big money at Leicester let’s not kid ourselves.
"But Leicester, the group of players they have. They’ve got a new training ground. If he’s leaving Leicester, I don’t think Arsenal is the right option, if I was him I’d sit tight."
