Leeds fan goes on TV to address being snubbed by ‘selfish’ players
Jurgen Klopp reviews Leeds United win
An eight-year-old Leeds United fan who was seemingly blanked by his heroes appeared on Good Morning Britain with his family to set the record straight this week. The Whites are in torrid form and Sunday’s dismal defeat to Bournemouth has sent them tumbling towards Premier League relegation danger.
“Some of them waved at me and some of them didn’t,” the youngster told Good Morning Britain before his dad, John, added: “What you have got to remember is that the video is just a tiny snapshot of what happened.
“In actual fact, in the video you can see Max Wober looks like he’s blanking him but in actual fact he didn’t, he actually smiled. And we’ve got a list of players who smiled, fist-bumped, and waved.
“Leeds players needed to be focussed the other day. They were running behind for starters, and they were told not to talk to anyone by the staff. They were following orders and some broke protocol. The top and bottom of this is that Dylan had a fantastic day and we woke up yesterday absolutely gobsmacked [by the headlines].”
