The January signing from Brighton laid on three goals for the Gunners, with Gabriel, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard all netting from his assists.
In doing so, the Belgian became the first player ever in the Premier League to provide three assists in the first half of a match away from home, according to Opta.
The whole Arsenal team was in fine form on Sunday as they blew Fulham away in the first half and then enjoyed a comfortable enough second half, despite the home side improving after a woeful first 45 minutes.
The victory restores Arsenal’s five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table from Manchester City after 27 matches played.
Mikel Arteta’s side have now won five Premier League games on the spin, recovering impressively from their sticky patch last month which saw them lose to Manchester City and Everton and draw with Brentford.
