Laura Woods receives date offer from crisp-loving follower who wants to DM her
Laura Woods savagely put down a crisp-loving follower who offered to take her on a bizarre date.
The talkSPORT host is known for her interactive persona on social media which often sees her banter with rival fans. She took to Twitter this week to ask her followers a peculiar question about crisps.
“Is it true that all crisps go off on a Saturday?” Woods wrote.

Unsurprisingly, many of her 735,000 followers immediately returned with various answers.
But one fan had other ideas, instead coming up with a flirty response in a cheeky attempt to take the ITV presenter out on a date.

“It is true Laura, I worked for Walkers back in the day,” he responded. “If you want to go into more detail drop me a DM, we can go for a meal and talk about it.”
But his hilarious attempt to take the radio star out for dinner failed miserably as she instantly hit back with: “I think safer to discuss publicly,” ending his dreams while simultaneously mocking his odd flirting game.
It is not the first time Woods has turned down a fan shooting their shot, however.
Earlier this year, the 35-year-old took to Twitter to ask: "Hi. Where are the best beaches in Britain? Like very quiet, hidden gem type ones."
A confident follower responded: "Got a kids sand pit in my back garden?? Does this count?? Mrs is at work most days," to which Woods wittily replied: "That’s what she says…"
