La Liga president blasts Mbappe’s mega new PSG deal "an insult to football"
La Liga president Javier Tebas has fumed at Kylian Mbappe's new contract with PSG, after the Frenchman snubbed Real Madrid.
Mbappe had looked set to join Los Blancos, but the striker seems to have changed his mind at the eleventh hour. The 23-year-old has reportedly accepted a new ludicrous contract that will keep him in the French capital for the foreseeable future.
And Tebes has fumed at the Frenchman and PSG: “What PSG’s doing by renewing Mbappé with large sum after giving losses of €700M in recent seasons and having more than €600M of salary bill, is an insult to football."
Tebes added: “They’re as dangerous as the Super League."
According to Sky Sports, Mbappe will earn £4million-per-month, double his current terms, making him football's highest earner. The report also suggests that the Frenchman will be in line for a mega £100million signing bonus.
The deal will also see Mbappe take complete control over all his own image rights.

Tebas has already claimed that Barcelona are unable to sign Robert Lewandowski despite 'agreeing a deal' with Bayern Munich.
He said: The numbers are very easy, you have over €500m losses in the last two years, you have to recover that to sign players.
"Lewandowski has a year left at Bayern, between what he wants to earn and what Bayern want as a fee, I don't see him at Barcelona."
