FA Cup: Liverpool drawn against Man Utd in fourth round
Mauricio Pochettino is prepared to go all out to bring compatriots Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero to Paris Saint-Germain. The former Tottenham boss has only been at the helm a matter of days, but is already looking to put his stamp on the PSG squad.
According to reports the Argentinian is hoping to persuade Manchester City striker Aguero to leave the Premier League to join his project in Ligue 1.
Along with Aguero, Pochettino is hoping to be the man to finally bring Messi to Paris, after years of speculation.
The Barcelona icon’s future is up in the air, with his contract set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
Several of the candidates running for the Barca presidency have hinted that should PSG make a move, they would be unable to match it.

However, with financial troubles hitting the French top flight, Pochettino will be forced to make cutbacks elsewhere.
Plans are in place for a salary cut in Ligue 1, with the champions recently reporting €100m worth of losses.
With that in mind, either Neymar or Kylian Mbappe could be moved on to accomodate the arrival of the two forwards.
Neymar has consistently spoke about how excited he is to link up with Messi again, after the two enjoyed huge success at the Nou Camp.

But, if Mbappe is available for transfer, it is sure to spark a bidding war across the game’s top clubs, with the likes of Real Madrid also interested.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has suggested that agreeing a contract with Mbappe is different to any other player, with talks ongoing.
Should they not agree a deal, Romano has claimed every big club across Europe will be in the mix.
“Obviously, it’s up to the player to find an agreement on a contract. When you talk with players like Mbappe, like Neymar, it is not a normal contract.
“If Mbappe will not stay at Paris, obviously, we will have all top clubs trying,” Romano added. “But I won’t mention Liverpool or Barcelona, or others, or Real Madrid.
“That’s because all the top clubs will be ready to try for Mbappe.”
