Liverpool, unlike their Premier League rivals, have been quiet in the transfer market this summer.

Manchester United have brought Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club, Manchester City signed Jack Grealish for a British record £100million fee, while Romelu Lukaku has joined Chelsea from Inter for £97.5m.

The Reds however, have made just one summer signing, with French defender Ibrahima Konate joining the club in a deal worth £34m in May.

Jurgen Klopp’s side continue to be linked with a number of ingoing’s and outgoings, but with deadline day just around the corner, time is running out.

With that in mind, here are the names that could come and go before Tuesday’s rapidly approaching deadline.

Mikkel Damsgaard

Liverpool are competing with Leeds to sign Sampdoria winger Damsgaard, according to Italian outlet La Republica, via Talksport.

Sampdoria would be set to make a significant profit on the £6m they paid Nordsjaelland last summer, with previous reports suggesting he could go for as much as £34m.

England fans will know Damsgaard all too well after he scored a spectacular free-kick against them to give Denmark the lead in the Euros semi-final.

Aston Villa are also rumoured to be admirers of the Danish youngster, but Klopp’s Liverpool would be a bigger move for the 20-year-old.

Yves Bissouma

Will Liverpool make anymore signings before the transfer window closes? Let us know in the comments section.

Brighton slapped a £40million price tag on highly rated midfielder Bissouma on Sunday.

Express Sport have reported that the Reds had made an opening for the Brighton midfielder, and Klopp could pursue the move further before the transfer window door slams shut.

Liverpool will have to compete with Premier League rivals United and Arsenal though, with both rumoured to be keen on the Mali international.

However, the Brighton star recently dropped a hint on his future via a Twitter post, following Brighton’s 2-0 defeat against Watford.

He wrote: "I find it hard to digest this defeat.

"We wanted to win our third game in a row for a great club with incredible fans but unfortunately as we say in football nothing is planned in advance but the best is yet to come, focus for the next one Brighton & Hove Albion FC."

One player who could be on his way out of the club is midfielder Curtis Jones, who is wanted by Aston Villa.

MailOnline reported that Villa could be set to make a shock late £15m offer for the 20-year-old, who is yet to play a single minute at Anfield this season.

Jones – who is under contract until 2025 – was not named in Klopp’s squad to face Chelsea on Saturday.

However, Sky Sports have said on Monday that the deal is now looking very unlikely.

Divock Origi

Belgian forward Origi could also be on his way through the exit door this summer.

The Athletic said on Friday that the 26-year-old’s future at Liverpool is still very much uncertain.

The Belgium international has been short of first-team appearances and has had to play second fiddle to Roberto Firmino.

Origi may look to reignite his career with a move away from from Anfield before the window closes.
