Klopp warned he can’t leave Liverpool’s best player on the bench against Arsenal
Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson has warned Jurgen Klopp not to leave Liverpool wing wizard Luis Diaz on the bench against Arsenal.
The Colombian winger has been an electric presence on the left flank of the Merseysiders’ attack. While the likes of Mohamed Salah and big money signing Darwin Nunez have endured a relatively flat start to the campaign for their lofty standards, Diaz has maintained his excellent start from last season.
He will need to be at his very best when Liverpool take on Mikel Arteta's side at the Emirates Stadium. And Robinson believes the ex-Porto forward cannot be dropped if Liverpool are to take anything from their trip to north London.

“Their style of play involves pressing from the front and they haven’t done that,” Robinson said while speaking on behalf of Betfred. “They’ve been getting picked off too easily.
“Díaz and Jota are the best at pressing from the front and last weekend they were left on the bench which was a strange decision in my opinion. Díaz has to play against Arsenal because for me, he’s Liverpool’s best player at the moment.”
Liverpool had to come from behind to draw 3-3 against Brighton in the previous gameweek. However, there was a large degree of fortune in their hard fought point against Roberto De Zerbi’s side.

The Seagulls had many chances to inflict Liverpool’s second defeat of the season at Anfield. However, Reds goalkeeper Alisson Becker, who has been a continuously excellent presence within the Reds’ despite their inconsistent start to the campaign, made countless saves to keep his side within the contest.
“The one shining light has been Alisson,” Robinson added. “Because as poor as Liverpool have been, we’ve got to see how good their goalkeeper actually is.”
Liverpool are currently residing in tenth position in the Premier League having won two, drawn four, and lost one of their opening seven matches. However, victory over Mikel Arteta’s side could take them as high as seventh position, depending on results elsewhere.
