Karim Benzema shows football’s ugliest foot as fans ask ‘you getting a new one’
Real Madrid star Karim Benzema has left football fans in shock at his right foot – and not in a good way for once.
Benzema is usually finding the back of the net for Los Blancos on a regular basis with it. But the 217 goals he's scored with his stronger foot across his legendary career have clearly taken a toll.
The Frenchman, 35, posted a picture of it on his Instagram story on Monday (May 29) as he was undergoing blood cupping treatment. Not only did his raised skin make for grim viewing, but his toenails were also notably discoloured and his stitches from a recent injury were visible too.

The image cause quite the stir on social media, with one person asking: "Is he getting a new foot?" Another joked: "Has the geeza died and come back to life? Wtf are those nails man."
"I didn't need to see this," commented a third, while another wrote: "Footballers have the scariest feet omg." A fifth said: "Now that is a footballer’s foot."
A sixth argued: "My grandfather looks better on his feet." And one other sighed: "Man's a multi millionaire and that's his feet damn."

Benzema had to be stitched up last week after being stamped on during Real's 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano, going on to score regardless. His agent Karim Djaziri shared an image on Twitter of his injury, which ruled him out of the trip to Sevilla at the weekend.
He also had cupping therapy, which aims to increase circulation and thus aid recovery, on his back ahead of the final fixture of the season at home to Athletic Bilbao next weekend.
Spanish outlet AS have reported Benzema has been offered a mega-money contract worth in excess of €400million (£346m) by a Saudi Arabian club in an attempt to strengthen the nation's 2030 World Cup hopes, with his Real contract expiring next year.
