Kane ‘insists again he wants Man City move’ as Cristiano Ronaldo option emerges
Harry Kane has reportedly told Tottenham Hotspur again that he wishes to join Manchester City before the end of the transfer window as Cristiano Ronaldo transfer links emerge.
The Spurs striker has been pushing for a move to the Premier League champions all summer but chairman Daniel Levy is demanding £150milllion for Kane.
And the Sun reports Kane is still pleading with Levy to let him join City despite making a substitute appearance against Wolves on Sunday.
With only six days left to reach an agreement and Kane still ambitious to compete for silverware, the coming days will be pivotal in determining the forward’s future.
Kane recently caused controversy by turning up to training a week late from his break after Euro 2020, but the England captain thinks the club have not protected him from criticism claiming he behaved unprofessionally.
Spurs have remained silent over the incident despite Kane believing he had an agreement to extend his holiday.
The 28-year-old reportedly believes the situation has portrayed him as the bad guy and tarnished his image with fans, despite the warm he received from the away section at Wolves last weekend.
Yet Kane’s hopes of joining City are still being massively held back by the difference in Levy and Man City’s valuation of the player.

Etihad chiefs are reportedly unwilling to spend more than £125million on the Premier League golden boot winner, which is still considerably less than Levy’s demands.
Furthermore, Cristiano Ronaldo, 36, is claimed by French outlet L’Equipe to be seeking to engineer a move to Man City.
The Serie A top goal-scorer’s agent has reached out to City and will only cost around £20million.
As a far cheaper option to Kane and still a renowned clinical finisher, interest in the Portugal captain could see City give up their pursuit of the Spurs talisman.
