One Arsenal player has been left feeling particularly flustered about his future given the imminent arrival of Kai Havertz.
The Gunners shocked the nation when they sealed a £65million deal for the Chelsea man, whose faltering form has failed to flatter in three years in the Premier League.
But Mikel Arteta’s side have showed belief in the German international and could make use of Havertz’s versatility to play him in a number of positions.
And the potential of Havertz adopting a place up-front has caused concern for one Gunners star in particular.
The man in question, according to the Sun, is youth academy graduate Eddie Nketiah, who is ‘wondering if he really has a future at the club’.

One Arsenal star has been left questioning his place within Mikel Arteta’s squad next year
Despite deputising well for Gabriel Jesus, as noted by Mail Sport’s Martin Keown, a modest nine-goal haul could see Nketiah tumble down the pecking order as Arsenal recruit in the forward positions.
A source told The Sun that the 24-year-old, once of Chelsea’s academy system, is wondering if he has a future at the Emirates after such significant investment in another player.
As per the source, Nketiah feels he can be a 20-goal-per-season player and West Ham and Crystal Palace would be keen.
His confidence is not unjustified as the poacher has showed lots of signs of promise in the last couple of seasons.
Nketiah signed a fresh five-year deal at the club worth around £100,000 per week only last summer and has won lots of praise from Mikel Arteta.
Eddie Nketiah is said to be ‘wondering if he really has a future’ for the north London outfit
At the time, his boss said: ‘I’m delighted Eddie is staying with us,’ Arteta said. ‘He represents what we are all about and all the values of the club.’
While Havertz arrived at Arsenal more as an attacking midfielder, he has played the striker role this season and any continuation with that would put him in competition with Nketiah.
It is understood that Arsenal would possibly be willing to let one of Eddie Nketiah or Falorin Balogun go, but not both.
Balogun bagged a cool 22 goals on loan at Will Still’s Reims this campaign but could be in line to leave the club.
