Juventus and their manager Massimiliano Allegri want to sell Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, according to reports. Ronaldo has just one year remaining on his contract at Juventus and has been linked with a stunning return to Manchester United. The Portuguese superstar has been unable to lead the Old Lady to Champions League glory in his three years at the club so far.
Juve failed to win Serie A last season for the first time since the 2010/11 season.
The Turin giants only just scraped into the top four to gain Champions League qualification.
Ronaldo top scored in all competitions for Juve, netting 36 times.
However, both Juve and the returning Allegri are on the same wavelength regarding the future of the 36-year-old.

Speaking on Reach PLC’s Transfer Window podcast, Duncan Castles says Juve need to get Ronaldo off their books for Financial Fair Play reasons.
And he claims Allegri would like to use Ronaldo’s wages on players he is targeting in this summer’s transfer window.
Castles said: “Juventus want to sell Cristiano Ronaldo, or if they can’t sell him get him off their books for the coming season. They need to do that for FFP purposes.
“They won’t state that publicly but that has been the plan for some time and they’ve been working to find somewhere that is acceptable to Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Allegri’s arrival, and Allegri being given control and authority over transfers, has not changed that.
“Again my understanding is that Allegri, he will not say this publicly, but he would prefer it if Ronaldo’s salary is removed from the books and he is able to use that salary in different areas.”
Castles says Ronaldo is open to leaving Juventus, with Real Madrid and United among the clubs to have been offered his services.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is not against the move,” he added.
“His representatives have looked at a number of clubs, they’ve offered him to Real Madrid.
“Real Madrid, through Florentino Perez, have publicly stated they can’t and won’t bring him back at this time.
“He’s been offered to Manchester United.”
Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in Ronaldo.
Spanish outlet AS claim PSG have made contact with the player’s representatives regarding a potential move.
